The quality of instruction was so high- he helped us understand the basic engineering of a gun and covered safety principles, loading, aiming, and shooting. One thing I really appreciated was how hands on each component was- Marcos didn't just explain things but had us repeat the motions until we developed some confidence. Despite how politically contentious gun ownership can be, I think it's important for everyone (gun owner or not) to have a grasp of the basics. “I took the NRA personal defense in the home instructor course this past weekend august 3/4 . This is the second time that I take a course with them and I can only say one thing This place is awesome, we had a fantastic group of people in the class but the star of the show was the instructor Kevin Perez what a professional and knowledgeable guy he is , he thought all of us the same lesson but each of us had different abilities and he found ways to present the principles in a way we could all participate . “Took the RSO Range Safety officer course here from the NRA. The course instructor was Kevin. Kevin was very professional in teaching the course material and provided a plethora of different weapons for inspection and function that you would see on a range on any given day. Safety was alway used in the teaching and talked about, so you have it pounded in your head, I mean that is the whole point in Range "SAFETY" officer. The class size is small, which to me makes it a good learning opportunity and people would not be afraid to ask questions in a smaller setting for learning. I'm looking forward to taking additional classes from Miami Shooters club in the future. IMO Kevin did an outstanding job of teaching and hitting on key points in the material and moving the class along. I don't think you can go wrong with taking classes from Miami Shooters Club in your future needs.”
